Purchased for €10,000 at Tattersalls Ireland yearling sale. By Nando Parrado, who has had a solid start to his stallion career sitting towards the top of the first season sire’s table. He recently had a Listed winner that was only a £15,000 yearling purchase. He won the Group 2 Coventry on his second start and went on to come second in two Group 1’s later at two. Lethal Force as a broodmare sire is starting to produce better stock, one being recent Group 3 Acomb Stakes winner Gewan. He looks a racy type.

Purchased at Tattersalls Ireland yearling sale for €25,000. Calyx operates at a 61% winner to runners strike rate which is as good as any sire. When crossed with Exceed And Excel mares they have a 100% strike rate. The dam is a proven producer of winners. Calyx is a sire that we have had success with before through Nellie Leylax. He has an entry in the Tattersalls sales race at the Curragh. He will be trained by Tom Dascombe.

Proven sire Australia has produced numerous good horses such as Broome and Bangkok. He operates at a very solid strike of 52%. Kodiac is becoming a prominent Broodmare sire through the likes of group winners Charyn and Believing. This Australia looks a steal for £8,000 when you consider the foal brother to him recently sold for €130,000 at Goffs. He was a beautiful physical with plenty of size and scope to progress at three. He currently holds a mark of 70. There are shares available going into his three-year-old season.

Purchased at Goffs Premier Yearling Sale for £16,000. Cotai Glory has a 52% winners/runners strike rate. Siring top two-year-olds such as Atomic Force and The Platinum Queen. Dark Angel is an emerging force as a Broodmare sire with the likes of Havana Grey and Content to account for. Gin and Slim, the dam, has a 100% strike rate with her runners. Kolkata Knight won first time out by 5 lengths and he took us to Royal Ascot. He finished his two-year0old season winning at Haydock in a 0-95 over 5f and now is rated 86.

Bought at Goffs Premier Yearling Sale for £10,000. This yearling is from Lucky Vega’s first crop in the Northern Hemisphere, having already sired a stakes winner from his Southern Hemisphere crop. He won first time out at two and went on to win the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes. Monsun for so many years has produced high class horses as a Broodmare sire. Shawaaty, the dam, has had four winners from five runners that all ran to a decent level. This striking chestnut colt will go to Tom Dascombe who has trained two of the siblings to win.
