Kolkata Knight wins with authority on debut

Kolkata Knight took the long trip up to Scotland the day before his debut on the 16th May. He travelled up like a seasoned pro, ate, drank and slept. His homework had been above average, so there was some confidence behind him in the market. He went to post a 13/8 favourite and he won with authority in the 6f Restricted Maiden under regular Millennial Racing jockey Pierre-Louis Jamin for Tom Dascombe. He will now be freshened up and aimed towards the Group 2 Coventry at Royal Ascot.
